Owner/Breeders accepted as members of the International Yak Association, will be issued a membership number that will be used on all registry certificates and related paperwork of the North American Yak Registry (NAYR).

A herd identifier of 2 to 4 alphanumeric characters will be placed on all registration papers of animals registered by me and will become part of the permanent identification of registered yaks. (ex. R2, 5Y6, CTJW)
